Everybody's Beauty Event

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all ok! A few weeks ago I attended the Everybody's Beauty Event in Selfridges London. The event was to celebrate the beauty of difference with an evening of festivities, pampering beauty experiences, complimentary drinks and special treats from a variety of brands.

After wandering around the beauty hall for a while, I decided to sit down at Jo Malone and have a well deserved hand and arm massage. I was asked what scent I would like and of course I said Pomegranate Noir (my all time favourite scent), I'd never tried fragrance combining, however the advisor kindly offered to show me! First she massaged my hands and forearms with Pomegranate Noir lotion and finally spritzed my arms with Mimosa & Cardamom- oh my what a combination!

I then went to my appointment with Clarins and got to pick my own mini treatments! I went with 'Deep Cleanse' and 'Thirst Quencher', I chose these because recently my skin has been so dull and I have a dry skin type naturally, so I thought these would be perfect for me to get my skin back on track! I totally blame living in London for my bad skin at the moment, the hard water, high pollution and constant running around is definitely taking its toll.

After these mini treatments I could notice a difference straight away, so I had to make a purchase. My favourite products were: Gentle Exfoliating Brightening Toner and the Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil.

For the next three weeks I will be using the oil every night as a treatment, and then twice a week after that! I'll also be using the Toner twice a week as it has exfoliating properties so cannot be used everyday like regular toner. I'm so excited to add these products to my skincare routine and get my skin looking amazing again!

This is a perfect time to be able to remember the lady's name who helped me and actually did these treaments.. ahh. Anyway, she was amazing! I really appreciate it when people actually listen to your needs and don't just recommend the most expensive or the brand new products - they actually tailor it to your skin type and what you have told them. So a huge thanks to you, you absolute star!

After all of this, I received a goodie bag which was filled with lots of exciting products to try. A few that caught my eyes include: a Dermalogica pack, Charlotte Tilbury Clay Mask, Trish McEvoy Tanning Towelette, EOS Hand Lotion in Berry Blossom, Chanel Le Volume De Chanel and finally the YSL Forever Youth Liberator. They are all really generous sample sizes, perfect for travelling!

I honestly couldn't recommend going to your nearest Clarins counter. I'll definitely be going back to purchase some more of the beautiful things I had the chance to try that evening.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed my post!

Have you tried any of these products? Or have you experienced the beautiful Clarins facials too? Let me know in the comments below.

Love,
Kirby X
